As a Hybrid Crew Member, you will combine technical maintenance, guest service, and sailing support to ensure the smooth operation of our hotel ships and an exceptional experience for guests from around the world. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is ready to be part of a growing international team.

What we're looking for
- Practical skills in plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance.
- Experience or willingness to learn hospitality tasks such as housekeeping, breakfast service, and guest interaction.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to switch between technical and guest-facing duties.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality.
- Comfortable living and working onboard in Amsterdam city center.
- No 9-to-5 mentality and the ability to handle unexpected situations.
- Eager to learn and grow together with the company.
- Representative and professional attitude when interacting with guests.
- Good English communication skills.
- Additional EU languages are considered a plus.
- EU citizenship
What you'll do
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and painting on the ships.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues.
- Carry out regular inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Respond to technical issues and unexpected maintenance needs when required.
- Assist with housekeeping duties, including making beds and cleaning cabins.
- Maintain common areas to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Prepare and serve breakfast for guests.
- Support guest check-ins and provide assistance throughout their stay.
- Ensure an excellent guest experience and high levels of satisfaction.
- Assist during ship movements and canal cruises.
- Handle ropes and support the captain during sailing operations.
- Participate in training and qualification programs provided by the company.
- Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the vessels.
